Introduction
This website is used for the project on Scaling up Common-Pool Resource (CPR) Theory. It is a semantic wiki, which is a wiki that holds data. The data in this site describe the values of variables for a set of example social-ecological systems (cases). These data are held in the form of instances of categories. The categories are shown in the sidebar to the left under "Data". For more information on these categories and adding instances of each of them, click on the "Methods" link to the left. What follows here is a brief description of the contents of this site, the outline of which is given in the sidebar to the left.
Main pages
The "Main pages" section contains the documents that are important for the project. These are mostly pages like the ones you would find in a regular wiki.
The main page is this page.
The Background page discusses the theoretical background and motivation for this project.
The methods section is just that. It describes the framework, concepts, and database used
The help and instructions contains the instructions the members follow to enter data into the site.
Browsing data
The second section, "Data," can be used to browse the data that has been previously entered by project members. It is organized by category, and these categories are described in the "Methods" section. The most important link in this section is the "Browse data" link, which allows you to apply filters to the categories in order to view subsets of each.
Adding data
The final section is used to enter data. Here you add instances of cases, studies, variables, and variable uses, which are data that will be used to flesh out the manual.
